is grout sealer recommened for newly laid grout give it some protection?

sure seal or super seal (aerosol can) can be applied 20 mins after grouting if needed

As Jay says, aerosols are good Seal Guard etc. there are a few on the market now, helps keep the grout from discolouring

ive got bal wide joint flexi grout on the floor and around the bath bal micro flexi, freshly laid today!!

Ok dave ta. I take it its ok for normal bathroom floors. Just thinking about giving the grout a little extra protection

Yep it is fine for use on ceramics as well.. it will just seal the grout.
