I have one....seldom take it out of the case as the 3,4,5 tape trick works really well.

I've got a stanly square. It is spot on. I used it for building the dwarf wall of my conservatory.

hi scott, it was on the dewalt web site but yes, he did confirm it has been discontinued..
3-4-5 / pythagorus theorem has never let anybody down or needed batteries lol but a laser sqaure can save a bit of time on occasions .

Re: Dewalt dw060K - Floor Laser Square (Discontinued)
I have found it handy for small areas, but if you have more than 30 ft it becomes to inaccurate to be of much use other than for general reference.
So for a kitchen or a bathroom they can be quite excellent.
We got ours as a bonus when we bought our DeWalt wetsaw, along with a 1/2 inch mixer as a holiday special.

With that leveler dos'nt it have a small level bubble to sort out before turning the laser on

Re: Dewalt dw060K - Floor Laser Square (Discontinued)
Not on ours, we would need the bubble level and some wedges I guess.

Re: Dewalt dw060K - Floor Laser Square (Discontinued)
hi beam
as above, no adjusting level, just a square laser line...it projects along the floor and it will travel up the wall a few inches for reference but the lines that do project up the wall, will not always be level/plumb, especially if the floors uneven.

08122011748_2.jpg08122011747.jpg08122011746.jpgHere it is in Spectra/Trimble colours dont know if they have discontinued it, this tool has made its money over the last few years. 3,4,5 and bisecting angles is all very well but this saves you sooo much time & just turn it on at any stage as you progress through you floor to make sure everything is square.
