    Default schluter ditra or any decoupling membrane,do u still need flexi adhesive?

    after overboarding t&g with 18mm ply then applying schluter ditra,does the adhesive have tp be flexi? even though the decoupler allows for movement? also other than ditra where can i find info on other tanking products?...cheers!

    You use an adhesive that us suitable for the substrate etc... Ditra is for lateral movement and not deflection.

    so would that be a flexi adhesive? lateral is side to side ami right? and deflection isnt?...lol.sorry cnt grasp this idea

    If onto timber then yes flexible... lateral is side to side stress and deflection is bounce.. so yes up and down....
