    Default Border tile problem?

    Hello.

I Have obtained a border tile from someone. It has a metal strip like pattern in it. It is a ceramic tile white and grey colours but has a shiny metal (possible thin lead??) pattern going from one end to the other end. (possible stuck onto the surface of the tile?)

    ANYWAY.

I only noticed the other day in a certain light or reflection that there are marks on the metal patten. Not lots of marks but enough.. They are small and purple-ish colour and could be compared to petrol colours that you see in the road after a spillage.??

Any ideas - could they be rust??? I tried leaving the tile in a tub of water and no further marks came...

hi golddigger, can you post some pic..??
from your description it seems that the metal pattern colour
    change is caused by oxidation.
try to get rid of it using multi purpose peek metal polish or something similar,
and give it a wee wipe of wd40.
    hopefully it will help..
