Unhappy First marble floor job.

Just been asked to quote for laying 8 meters of black granite on a concrete floor in a local bar. Haven't been to look yet, (going on Friday after work) customer tells me she's buying the tiles off the internet and that as they are wax coated they won't need sealing. Would appreciate any advice on this, re the sealing or not issue or any other probs I ought to consider before giving a quote.

Sorry cocked up, it's not marble it's granite, same questions different material. Sorry again for the confusion, my bad.

Hi

No real probs I dont think, would make the effort to find out who supplied them and contact them re the sealing. Wax I have not seen on granite but offtern on porcelain. If they do have wax on them may be a prob but speak to supplier or ask for the suppliers instructions in writing. The sealing is not likely to be a huge issue on a bar floor but you never know what will get dropped on them. A grey flex adhesive will do u and standard grout. If it ends that they need sealing then turgon them to get wax off then stain stop I would think is your direction.
