Default Hand tool to eliminate lippage??

Has anyone ever come across any sort of hand tool which is inserted between wall tiles and turned, lifting the lower of two tiles to eliminate any lippage there might be. I think i seen something like it once on youtube. From what i remember it was an american product. I'm not talking about those lash clip things used on floor tiles, this was a small handheld tool a bit like those old spikes with wooden handles that always seem to be in old garden sheds

stick the long side of a long arm 2mm allen key in a handle of some sort. this can be passed through the grout joint, turned 90 degrees then used to pull out the tile ( Kevs invention, not mine)

lifting the lower tile will raise it from the bed of adhesive unless you remove it and add more adhesive. never heard of any gizmo like that but the allen key tip sounds good

I just fix them right to start with, and if it's not right I take it off and re-do. Using this type of tool to level a tile will only leave voids.

hi just to let u guy know ive tryed these and there useless, they create voids under the tiles, i tryed them on a perspec sheet it just leaves on tile with a viod . there ok but not to be trusted. just plenty of prep work and plenty of level usage

We all know that leveling systems are a load of rubbish.

but some times you need to pull a tile out by 0.25mm to 0.50mm to eliminate lippage at one point, in this case you may use a sucker plate or on a riven finished tile/stone the 'allen key tool'.

One can fashion one from a piece of metal, similar the the allen key idea. making it whatever size you need

I had a "dibber" made from flattened copper pipe - it did the trick when called upon
