Cool Stupid Question Time - Knees ????

I have been doing my biggest floor tiling job for the last week and hopefully there is only one day to go :-?

    So.... The question is...

What do you do to stop your knees getting really sore - My back is moaning a bit, but my knees are definitely worse.

I have gel knee pads with double elastic straps, but I feel that they cut the circulation off a bit. I regularly use a couple of foam pads (Like the gardening ones) but doing the floor this whole week has just been agony.

My best help which I found last night was a bag of frozen peas on each knee :-)

    Any advice much appreciated

Get the trousers with the knee pad pockets, I put 2 sets of pads in them, like kneeling on a cloud!

It's not just about knee pads...... I go to the gym and run at least 50 km a week an also use sauna, steam room and ice baths. You have to look after yourself physically in this game.

Had an op on a disintegrated knee 20 years ago! Alpro is the only pad I have found that lets me floor tile all day with no discomfort, and no joint lock up. But £55 is a lot to pay if your joints are better than mine!

I wear Snickers floor layers trousers with 2 sets of knee pads installed. They do feel bulky and heavy but my knees feel great.

get alpro knee pads from tradetiler!!
used a pair in 2006 and never found any knee pad as good!! they've gone up a bit in price but tt are still very very competative!!! ;0)

they were designed by a german specialist to prevent the full weight of your body resting directly on your knee cap. they support the sides as opposed to the keen cap itself...you pay more, but you get the best imo.
