good on you Fred i think the big shops dont give you guys a good enough deal sometimes i use up to 6 ton a week so i tend to get a good deal but it wasn't so easy when i first started it made a lot of diffenence at the end of the week in your pocket

pci still use some bal & ardex i lay large format porcelain most of the time 2 or 3 products pci make better than anything the big guys make basf owns them inc feb,sontex

How did you get into the big time tiling?

not that big shop floors most floors about 800 mts used to fix top qualty domestics mitering ect terracottas realy fancy work found £1-2 more per mtr more than most waste of time trying to be the best in the world chuck them at the floor now and earn 5 times as much

I love it when I get a big area to have a go at. Being a sole trader though, I find myself getting the lower end of the market, but very happy doing it. I love my job.

I got a call July from a top builder in Epsom. Five bathrooms, kitchens and floors , all in porcelain. Did a decent quote, and got it. Nice money.
