Re: van graphics
was thinking of asking dave for a tilers forum sticker but i dont want everyone logging on and getting the info they need then doing the tiling themselves !

Re: van graphics
Yeah TF stickers would be great for the image.

Re: van graphics
TF stickers coming soon, as for the Mapei stickers.. do seek approval from mapei that you can do this first.

Re: van graphics
I'm with you there, John. Not right to pay to advertise another business especially where you're the customer.

Re: van graphics
They will give you permission to copy their image. Most sign writers will print them anyway as you part of your contract for the work will be a disclaimer that you on the copyright on anything you are having done.

Richard - as a proud winner of 365 drills for a JOTM competition and having first hand knowledge of your excellent product - I'd be more than happy to display on of your quality signs! (a couple of pipe drills wouldn't go amiss)

Re: van graphics
I don't quite understand why you would 'want' to put a mapie sticker on. Yea if they were asking you to and offering them out then so be it but to go to the effort to advertise other peoples products raise there profile? After all your potentnal customers don't need to know what yoiu fix with do they? as you mentioned your keen to keep them in the dark about how to 'do it them selfs' Why tell passers by what sticky is the best?

Re: van graphics
I dont see any harm in stating you only use a professional product
a lot of decorators get registered with dulux as a "select" decorator and have Dulux in big letters on their van, they reckon it gets them work as people have confidence in the name
ironicly most decorators wont use it unless its specified on the job , like bal , its a good product but pricey and theres better products cheaper on the market

Oh yea but thats a bit diffrent Mike. Thats almost like being a member of a federation or a guild. If mapei handed out stickers that said mapei and stickers that said Mapei aproved tile fixer which would hold more clout?
All I'm saying is Mapei should pull there finger out and make the stickers for tile shops and tilers vans. Tilers shouldn't have to pay a graphics firm to make them some.
