Nah we have some gay friends, in fact i've even been to a gay wedding reception! And i've been to a few gay bars with them, it's really isn't that bad, most in Brighton aren't that bad it's nothing like the Blue Oyster in Police Academy! OK there are some full on ones which are dirty and seedy, not my cup of tea at all! but most are marketed as gay friendly and of course you see a few strange going ons but in the most part you wouldn't even know you were in a gay bar.

And believe it on not if you're single it's a great place to pick up women, straight girls go to gay clubs so they don't get hassled by men trying it on with them, the women assume you are gay yourself and then watch them fall over themselves trying to turn you straight.

A pilot with BA I did some work for a couple of years ago told me if you're a straight male cabin steward you've got it made for the overnight stopovers. Loads of stewardesses and little competition for them.
