Trowel?
I have always used a 6mm notch trowel for wall tiling up to now, and I read in another thread a 8mm trowel is to be used for good bathroom Walls and 10mm for bad.
I have a bath/shower room to do in 150 by150 tiles and the walls are reasonable but not spot on. Which trowel do I use? (sorry if It's a stupid question)

Re: Trowel?
I use a 6mm for straight, flat walls, with ceramic tiles, for porc and stone (on flat walls) I tend to use 8mm.

Re: Trowel?
6mm is fine for that size tile, 8's and 10's are for the larger stuff. Like kilty says save yourself some time and dry line the walls out if they are a bit wonky. You'll spend more on adhesive packing out than you will on a few boards

Re: Trowel?
Thanks for the help. If the walls are really bad then I will sort them out first. I'l carry on with the 6mm trowel.
Got lots of these bathrooms to do (social housing) 150x150 white tiles 450mm up from bath mosaic border then 150x150 tile to ceiling and 330x330 floor tiles.
