Silicone colour
Hi - My wall tiles are white with white grout and my floor tiles a dark grey with mid grey grout. I will need to silicone the join between floor and wall tiles. My instinct says this will look better with grey silicone rather than white. What do you think? And if you agree with grey then where to get it? My tile shop only has white, ivory or translucent.

Re: Silicone colour
I would use grey.. Mapei do a mid grey one.. 113 is the code for it .. You can get it from Tile giant.. http://www.tilegiant.co.uk/tile-adhe...one-310ml.html

Re: Silicone colour
I know faithhealer - that's what I thought!!! The thing is I'm in Northern Ireland so don't have Tile Giant or Topps or the like. I'll try a few builders merchants tomorrow and see whether they have any. Thanks for the help - always good to know my instinct is right. :-)

Indeed Hillhead - I see you're in NI. Where do I get grey silicone or is that a trade secret?

Re: Silicone colour
Thank you Hillhead. I'm in Co Down - it was McCall's in Carryduff who I only had 3 colours. I work in Belfast so will drive round to Boucher Road and try the Armatile store. :-)

Re: Silicone colour
If you get stuck, and have a Wickes near you, they also do a mid grey silicon among other colours, always a good back up for me.
