    Hi Andy and welcome

Any mention of recession and everyone has the same knee jerk reaction to reign it in a little

Trouble is a lot of other things will come before tiling.... like Christmas (BAH HUMBUG!!) so I think we, and all trades will feel a pinch.

Ohh. Christchurch. That's where I live. If it all turns to poo, perhaps I'll give you a call? (but see this thread....DIY Tiler - 90 sq m of large format porcelaine tiling making me nervous!).

Good Luck that sounds like a lot of work for your second tiling job .I think you need to weigh up the costs of buying all the tools for doing the job properly against having someone coming in and doing it for you .
If you do get stuck just message me ,ill do my best to help you out!!
    Cheers Andy
