I'm a newby but I would say floor first, then protect it so that you don't drop wall tiles and addy on it then you tile down the walls onto the floor and in my opinion that would look best.......!!!!!!

I do it both ways..........

Re: Do You Tile The Walls Or Floor First...?
i tend to tile the walls first in a bathroom with a floating floor if there is any movement then it wont break the silicone seal with movement up and down. And if its on a concrete floor then walls leave last row do floor then cut in last row as there wont be any movement to consider.

Re: Do You Tile The Walls Or Floor First...?
if you tile down to the floor you'll see all the cuts along the floor. tile the walls first then you can do a nice neat cut up to the walls without seeing all those cuts from a distance

Re: Do You Tile The Walls Or Floor First...?
Once you silicone the bottom, you cannot see which way it was done.. so do what works for you..

Re: Do You Tile The Walls Or Floor First...?
If the tiles are the same for the walls and floor and the grout lines follow through, I do the floor first..........
But as said each to there own.

Re: Do You Tile The Walls Or Floor First...?
Mainly walls first, but if plumber needs to sort heights out for cabinets, toilets etc. etc. then floor first, there's no right or wrong way.

Make sure the floor is well covered when the plumber works in there, you don't to be changing a cracked/chipped tile with the under floor heating
