    both for me Dave, but if I had an order of preference it would probably be;
    1) bathroom walls
    2) kitchen floors
    3) kithen splashbacks
    4) bathroom floors

    Here's another who only does floors, Dave. However I do vinyl tile and hardwood as well. If a customer has something like a splashback as well as the floor to be done I will accomodate them. I used to tile walls, it's just I'm not as quick as I'd like to be on them. Maybe I like gravity on my side.

    Could do floors all day every day - despite the knees creaking. Don't know if it's because I'm a short Glaswegian but hate climbing up and down to do the tops of walls...

    Every kind of tiling for me, providing it's challenging. I love doing victorian/ geometric floors, large format walls, big industrial power vibro jobs, kitchen splash backs. You name it, I like it. Maybe I'm just sad, oh, and marble, and granite, travertine, mosaic, slate, porcelain, ceramics, quarries, glass tiles, limestone, sandstone, twin tiles, conglomerates, terrazzo. quarundums, apart from these, not really fussed. NB. to self, must get a life

    I'll tile anything, but i have a pet hate for mosaic's and most things commercial. You cant beat the look on a customers face when they see their completed job for the first time.

    Oh, if only tiling only involved walls waist hight up I'd be a happy bunny, I'd do a lot more 'normal' tiling! Dicky knees means no floor work for me apart from the odd one off. Luckily artistic mosaics can be made at home at my worktable, no problems there We all have to go with what we are good at

    as Mr Campbell says i find it quicker to put down 30 mts on a floor than 30 mtrs on a wall and they are the same price to me even though the floor will cost you a lot more in materials but take a lot less time so more money in the end

    I prefer commercial work to domestic, if its a wetroom from scratch then I am in my element.
    Large floors in natural stone are another favourite.
