How would you do it?
I am refurbishing a bathroom, I have a tiler to do the tiling but I am ripping it out and preparing. All walls are plasterboard so I think it would be easier to rip all of it out and re-plasterboard and then tile direct on to this. It will be a bath with shower so around the shower end I will use aquaboard. One sheet high of aquaboard will take it to about shoulder height (1200mm plus the depth of the bath), would you put aquaboard above this height or just moisture resistant plaster board? At the end of the bath one width of aquaboard is plenty as it will take it to beyond the shower screen, but at the side one width is 900mm, would you put 2 widths to take it to 1800mm or is one enough.
Thanks for any opinions.

Re: How would you do it?
That would be fine Mick,I would tape and tank the joints and around the bath/shower perimeter.

Re: How would you do it?
are you using 1200 x 900mm boards? if so why not at the end of the bath fix them longways. just a suggestion.

Re: How would you do it?
why not carry on with the aqua board above the height to the roof, for the minimal extra cost it adds piece of mind

Same as Dave for me, carry the aqua panel to the ceiling.
