Default Who uses square notched trowels for walls?

Just wondered who uses square notched trowels for walls and if so, what mm square notch has it got?

ive never used anything other than square notch 6mm,8mm and 10mm on floors when needed.

You know you could probably save some time spreading adhesive then if you used a large round notched trowel. A thick bed solid-bed trowel leaves 100% coverage with no fuss, I know myself that those 10mm square notched trowels don't give 100% coverage without a bit of work. I'd consider testing one out.

I like to use a v-notch trowel for small wall tiles. It may not be up to B.S., but I don't give a rat's ass.

Yes it is the thin bed solid bed for walls thick bed solid bed for floors depending on the size of the tiles, Large format etc. Been tiling for as long as care to remember been tough but well worth it.

i use 6-10mm on walls dependent on tiles etc. and 10mm on floors, and yep theres more tilers around now than traffic wardens, us older tilers have matured like fine cheese..lol
