Hi.
Have been tiling outside over the last week with fastflex...I now have hardened fastflex on some of my tools...anyone know anything I can soak them in to easily remove adhesive?

Nightmare must be some chemical that losens the adhesive...I know when I used 2 part flexible for the first time the only thing that would get it off my hands was petrol! maybe I should try that...
The sun caught me out a few times last week! had to throw a few buckets away![]()



Might be cheaper to buy a new trowel

soaking them won't be any good Simon, for a quick clean I sometimes take my angle grinder to them![]()


If you do forget to clean tools down a good scrape as has been said, also the grinder approach works a treat lol otherwise lay the trowel flat on a concrete or other solid base and chip off with a bucket trowel.


find a pile of gravel a rub your trowel on it like a duracel bunny with new batteries
if that dont work get the grinder out.![]()
