Are thicker tiles best?
Hi all,
Are thicker tiles always better?
I think I have found a tile that I like which is to be used in a house entrance. It is a 10mm porcelain, the same colour tile is available in a ceramic at 8mm for roughly half the price. Would you agree it is worth spending the extra?
Many thanks,

Re: Are thicker tiles best?
i'm always sceptical about laying ceramic on floors as they tend to wear quickly and look dull and dirty after not a lot of time, whereas porcelain tend to look great still after many years
