Discuss have you seen this tile in the Tiling Forum at TilersForums; I am looking for this 6x6 tile I think its made by pilkington surely someone has a few tucked away under the bath, kitchen sink or in the garage...

    Default have you seen this tile

    I am looking for this 6x6 tile I think its made by pilkington surely someone has a few tucked away under the bath, kitchen sink or in the garage

    Its light brown fleck on a creamy tile ceramic with a brown line border

    Ok I will take a guess from years back that the tile is Glade Fawn ??? ....anyone back me up on that ?

    Glade Fawn sounds right to me, I remember it well. If I am thinking of the same tile, the motif tile had different types of trees on it? going back a while though ( country kitchen days)

    Yep thats the one, fixed far too many of those.
    I used to get mixed up between, Johnsons KH1, Broadstone and Glade Fawn but Glade Fawn had the brown border around the edge of the tile.
    But sorry cant help with any supplies of tiles.

    And cottages etc...the days of Kilns in the back of every small tile shop.......In fact by local shop still has one...not used much these days though.

    I used to get some work back in the 90's from a tile shop and they had a kiln in the back room.... that shop closed and now the old owner works for CTD.. manager of newcastle branch.. strange hey.

    Think it was the standard kitchen tile at the time must of been 20% of kitchens at the time so you might be lucky
