ask the tile shop to do you a costing sheet.. this will give the correct price and if she asks for a receipt tell her they were on account and you only get a monthly bill through the post .........dave..

If ever I get asked for reciepts I say I get billed monthly but can do a cost sheet for them to compare in stores, which is obviously stilla good bit less than in stores for them.

If you are providing materials you are entitled to charge what price you want. If she gets a bit shirty, ask her to go and buy the same stuff retail and she will get a bigger shock. Nobody asks Tesco how much they buy beans for, they are only interested in what they sell them for ..........

I've had this,I just said I need the receipt cause I bought some tools at the same time as buying their materials.I then knip down to Topps and get a read out for how much the materials should cost. She'll then hopefully be grateful that you got her some discount.

Well she better be the miserable bi**h!
