    Default levelling floor dips

    hi guys ,

    I have a small porch concrete floor to tile about 3sq m it has hollows ov about 10mm in places could i use rapidset to fill these in or would i be be
    better with self leveller

    slc for me too for the amount of time it takes to put down and perfect surface to work on next day.

    For me, it all depends on the size of discrepancies. I might be inclined to use a rapid setting render such as Ardex A45.

    Its a porch?, it should have fall, if it does SLC will not be suitable. Use the rapid set .

    take it the concrete is crack free and clean (not painted)

    Would use rapid set or ardurapid 45, if I needed to get it tiled the same day, if the holes were only smallish, otherwise it becomes time consuming and screeding would be more viable.
