    Hi Dave
Thanks for the reply. Yes I live in Peterlee, I have never used Mapeker before, only used Keraquick but I will give it a go. Is it white or grey? Have you used tile giants own mapei products, proflex and proquick?

Pro flex and pro quick are keraquick and mapeker .. just renamed..

If you are ok with keraquick then use that..

At some point you will need to cut two types of holes into the porcelain
    1) Fixtures & Fittings - Rawl Plugs.

    6mm rawl Plug

    8mm rawl Plug

    2) All your service pipes like radiator pipes, bath pipes, shower heads, waste pipes.

Make sure you have a diamond core tile drill set so that drilling holes into porcelain is covered. We supply a set for £49.99

And its great value for money !

The set comes complete with the anti slip guide plate which will grip ANY tile.

This tool box essential item is available to installers like yourself plus
other tilers, plumbers and builders who want to drill holes into
    very hard porcelain tiles.
