what finish between wall and floor ??
Hi Guys
first time on here and hope i can get an answer to my probaly quite simple question:
I am having my property renovated and am looking for that clean line and contemporay look, we have decided to have the entire ground floor tiled with 60x60cm porcelain tiles.
we would really like to avoid having skirting on the ground floor so wondered if anyone knew of a beading or finish that will join the floor tiles with the newly plastered / panted walls other than skirting ??
your help is greatly appreciated

You can get skirting tiles

Why not use a 100mm tile cut as skirting..

Re: what finish between wall and floor ??
you could cut the porcelain tiles to make a skirting and match the floor

Re: what finish between wall and floor ??
your right that you will only get 2 from the 1 tile but you can also keep the cut tiles and that should give you a head start, the only thing that springs to mind at the moment would be a chrome square edged trim or listello
why not put the skirtings boards back on over the tiles?

Re: what finish between wall and floor ??
Dural do a full range of perimiter trims but they are not cheap and your walls will have to be nice and staight

Re: what finish between wall and floor ??
Possibly a quater round chrome trim fixed to the wall with the floor tile cut up to it?
Tricky but effective.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it!!
