I keep getting hastled by Yellow Pages
I keep getting hastled by Yellow pages to complete a full advertising for £26/Month so I was wondering what you all were finding was the best advertising for your business.
I have had a listing in Yellow Pages for 4 years now and had only one call from it so I'm not convinced that it would get better with a full advert?

Re: I keep getting hastled by Yellow Pages
the only calls you will get are from people selling advertising space as they think you must be soft in the head to buy space in yellow pages
I know nothing I havent learnt

I've only just realised that I'm not even in BT's residential listings, yet peeps keep ringing via the landline at home, ( due to recommendations

Re: I keep getting hastled by Yellow Pages
Do you have a local magazine covering your town / village? Find I get more work / leads from our local mag (distribution about 3000) than anywhere else - Gave up on all the well known directorys several years back - all a waste of time and never got enough work from them to cover the expense!

Re: I keep getting hastled by Yellow Pages
I had a card on the display in my local Homebase. Its for 3 years and costs a lot of money! However i did really well out of it but to be fair i did have the showroom people giving the cards as well as my sister used to run it and i fitted kitchens for some of the staff too.
