i have got a kitchen worktop cut off left over and it would make a nice chopping board, i thought abt tiling it , to match kitchen tiles, what i would like to ask , what would be best grout / addi for hygene perposes ? and has anyone everdone this or would you ever bother?

Personally i wouldn't bother..
Anice chunk of granite might be better and is the same back to front.. where as the work top will be chipboard at the back..

We have an off-cut of worktop thats solid timber right through. Treat it and use

if its solid timber then use the same sealer that you got for the worktops.
