are they asking you to prove your competence and abilities Dave? if so, it's basically what proof and evidence do you have that you can do what you say you can do

you need a health and safety policy

someone designated to be responsible for h&s on site

competance [ cscs card]

proveable history of similar work carried out correctly

you can walk this Dave

there are sites to help you free , Dom knows a good site but I cant remember what he said now
