Default Tile Format/orientation for Small Bathroom

    Hi All
I am starting my bathroom very soon, full new suite fully tiled walls and heated tiled floor.
The room is only 1.8m x 2.0m I want to use travertine effect ceramic oblongs on the wall and squares on the floor.
Do I lay the wall tiles in brickwork style, overlaping halfway and the floor ones juat square on to each other if that makes sense?
What sizes of tile would be best to make the room look bigger?

    Many thanks............

oblong tiles make a room look longer and it doesn't have to be brick bonded either,if the tiles are as long as the square floor tiles then you can make the grout line run through the walls and floor and will look good

work with the wall tiles first to see were the grout lines finsh to the floor .but if there the tiles are not the same size then no ? brick bond mite take your eye off the size of the room
