Had my last day at work friday, got two weeks before i start my tiling course and start my life as a tiler onthe 27th September.............................cant wait to ... -
New Life Begins
Hi All
Had my last day at work friday, got two weeks before i start my tiling course and start my life as a tiler onthe 27th September.............................cant wait to work for myslef and have something to show for my efforts.
I am however just a bit worried about getting the work in but thats down to me to get my name out there
Thanks to all that have given my advice so far, I am sure I will be asking for alot more in the future!

Lee good luck with the course and the new life as a tiler, all the lads and lasses on here will always be up for offering you advice on all aspects of tiling.
I'll go first get yourself some good quality trousers with built in knee pads.

I am doing the course at Diamond training in Arundel, from the feedback I have on here it seems like the best place around!

Did mine at Alpine Training in Rye..just wondered if you were going there.

Personally I would have kept the job for time being and used your tile training for weekend and family and friends to get your name about IMO

Would love have but I was made redundant, its worked out quite well as i had 4 months of knowing i was being shown the door so started doing tiling at the weekend and evenings for friends.
the hard graft starts now!
