Default Which sealer for white semi-polished limestone splashback and polished marble floor.

Which sealer would you recommend for White Portuguese Semi-Polished Grained Limestone tiles for a kitchen spalshback?

In the kitchen I am also having a Florentina Silk Polished Marble tiled floor. I would imagine I should seal the floor as well.

Is it recommended to seal once before grouting and after grouting?

The sealer that I have seen that might be suitable for both is LTP MGP sealer. Is this stuff any good or do you have any other recommendations?

The data sheet for the LTP MGP sealer says 10-30 square meter/litre coverage, but what do you think the coverage would be on the semi-polished limestone tiles and and the polished marble tiles.

i would seal several times if it's going to be in a kitchen, better safe than sorry.when i use stone in kitchens i always advise customers to seal stone again, even though i have sealed before and after grouting

    Hi..

LTP Mattstone will suffice on that stone as well... follow the instructions on the bottle and the stone will only absorb so much sealer..

The Florentine 2 coats should be fine bit the walls might be 3 to 4.. but you can do porosity tests on both to determine how the sealer is working..

Here are some pdf data sheets for the 2 sealers.

Technical Data Sheet (PDF) Mattstone Sealer

Technical Data Sheet (PDF) MPG sealer
