Dog tooth method / rebate in the
Tiling Forum at TilersForums;
Field tiles 12mm thick, mosaics 8mm thick. Wall dipping away at top too!
Used the dog tooth method with an off-cut of tile.
4mm difference + 2mm adhesive so cut ... -

I've done the same thing but with plywood....a tile offcut makes a lot more sense. Why didn't I think of that? Excellent post
