Re: ply floor
Hi Duggie, check on the bag mate, different companies advise to prime or not. The ply should have been bonded on the reverse and edges to stop it from cupping.

Re: ply floor
Yep, same as Diamond, the underside and sides should have been primed with an SBR and the tiled face would be dependant on adhesive and instructions.

Re: ply floor
as both above have posted, also what ply have you used, thickness, grade etc? for the soil stack I'd be tempted to face it with plasterboard if you still have room to do this. Good luck

Re: ply floor
Thanks for the replies, the bathroom is probably in total 6ft by 8ft, the ply used is WBP 18mm, floor is quite solid no bounce or movement at all, would like to have used 25mm but this would create more problems than it solved.
Thanks again.

Re: ply floor
BAL adhesives say not to prime the tiling face of ply.
