Just checked the primers in tile depot,and they sell and recommend standard pva, ,Told the guy there it was no good "with my new found knowledge from this forum",He then ... -

Just checked the primers in tile depot,and they sell and recommend standard pva,
,Told the guy there it was no good "with my new found knowledge from this forum",He then disagreed..dont think I will be going there much again,,any good places to try and get trade accounts?

Just checked their online store, it's the granfix PVA, so to be expected really. They call it "bonding priming agent". Not really for the tiling world.

just phoned tile giant,and they only do mappei primer g,,thaught it was only suitable for gypsum? and they just do ditra,,would like the option of something cheaper like the dural one!

Well, need it for plywood,gypsum,concrete floors.I prefer one primer that does all,,is sbr just for concrete?

Contact Dural direct, you are in the North, they are based in Wakefield.
Around £5.00 a metre plus VAT for their matting.
