Hi to you all
Have been a bit down on my luck latley,what with work being a bit rough.So got myself a job and was going to start my training on monday, was not really my thing but when needs must the devil drives. I have got a job in for a builder about 2wks work so was on here yesterday having a nose at things thinking how am i going to fit it in what with this new job.Then got a private message from Dean[Deanotile] to say was talking to a contractor about me and asked me to pm him for number,so i rang him this morining went over to see him and now i start for him monday.Its mad how things work out so am hopeing its the break i need to get back into the swing of things its all down to Dean and i thank him for that if i can repay the him i will.And again its down to being a forum member so i am stopping on the tools for now and will keep you all up to date

How did Dean hear about you needing work mate, did you do a thread on it? If so, I'd urge others TF Arms members to make a thread pointing out you need a hand if there's one going.

No dan was just talking about work and said if you need a hand give me a pm ,it just went from there.But i think what you said about a thread is a good thing to have like whitebeam said you never now whats round the corner,and it would be good to work with other forum members if they need a hand in your area

Nice to read stories like this.

I wonder if there is any technical way to set up a database of people listing their location, their skills and their availability. Or maybe just a bit difficult. It would need people to log in when they are free. Sort of like an online holiday villa booking system.

But then again maybe things are too fluid. Perhaps the internet is not the best place.
