I've got a covered paved area that has been painted with smooth masonry paint, can you tile on it if you stabalise/prime it first? I'm looking at using terracotta tiles, the area would not be exposed to rain but does get sun/frost.

Simple answer is sorry but NO!!..

no as the tiles would be adhered to the paint and not th esurface underneath,you will need to sand it of![]()
