who supplies that then..?
interesting more info required
More info, when you have applied the mosaic to the sheet you can cut with wet saw, the mosaics stay fixed to the sheet,i have even had designs cut, at the water jet cutting and it is very good when having to put mosaic borders in as you can cut it and double up, so that you achive the depth you need for the plain tile.

I've seen this, got the link somewhere on my main pc , not in my office right now... drawback though is that it does not discriminate what sticks to it ...
Trade Tiler sell a Montolit mosaic pad for the Montolit manual cutters - see it here:

Sigma do a mosaic cutter as well

I think Neale is talking about the self-sticky mesh that is available, not a cutter or matt. It's probably a slightly different story for me, I would worry, the fine cuts I do and the resulting glass splinters all over the place, but all dust debris etc would stick to it as well ... though I'd be happy to stand corrected...

This is one version SUPA PRO Tile Spacers and Accessories - THE TILE SOURCE but the other one seems to have gone out of businessMosaic Tile Mesh - Home Page

Had a look at the Supa Pro - not sure I would use it. Fine if the mosaic tiles were on paper, but if they were on their own mesh, it could buckle with the corners getting caught? It would also be very difficult to adjust the spacing between tiles if necessary.
I have used a very thin piece of ply behind mosaic borders, if I need to build up the depth - its a lot easier!
i know this thread is about cutting mosaics which seems to be lost on some people, and i am no exception.
i just wanted to say that i have used mosaic tile spacers by supapro lots of times and have found them to be exelent, they are a bit pricey but its all about the end result imo.
as for cutting mosaics just keep on stuggling the way we all do![]()
