Content is always king, sadly just listing a load of key words isn't going to get you near the top. In fact looking at your website you have too many keywords both in the meta data and on your home page. This is know as stuffing and can get you marked down rather than up. For your keywords to have any value to search engines they have to be used in context

The more good quality content you have on your site the more search engines will assume that is what the searcher is looking for.

There are also other small things you can do to help, like renaming your web pages. currently if you look above the address bar in your browser you web pages are named Adsumm Tiles - Home, Adsumm Tiles - About.. etc etc. Rename each one that gives another pointer to the pages content so your home page could be something like Adsumm Tiles - Professional Tilers in Gwent Newport & Cardiff.

There is far too much on SEO to post in this thread, there are thousands on websites dedicated to the subject and it's changing all the time so if you want to do it yourself you've got a LOT of reading. Sometimes it is just better to get a professional in and do it for you. This of course costs money but it is another tool so how much that is worth to you, only you will know - The golden rule is don't listen to anybody that says they can guarantee you fist place on google, unless they are no.1 on goggle themselves for SEO services for a broad search term like 'SEO' not no.1 for a specific search term like, "SEO company working whilst wearing red tracksuit bottoms and sitting behind a desk with a loaf of bread on it"

Oh and my website is currently being built so don't expect too much from it if you click it

I always explain SEO like a three legged-stool. There are three main things you need to do to get a website ranked highly. 1) Make sure your on-page text is good and says a lot about what you want to rank for, this applies to ALT tags for images too. 2) Make sure all your off-page text (so keywords in meta tags, title tags for your pages and even title tags for links can help a bit) and 3) link building and stuff that goes on off your own website, so swapping a few links with other tilers websites that are the other side of the country is always helpful for you both.

Each of the three needs the right amount of attention. Too much or too less of any one and your website wouldn't rank well, or your stool would wall over.

I'd also user Google Webmaster Tools and Analytics as they help identify issues with your site and track where visitors are coming from and what they searched for etc.

That's not helpful, John,, I think it's blooming disgusting to pinch other people's work and pass if off as one's own. Pathetic in fact.

Some say - Imitation is the 'highest form of flattery' - but then again some people take life too seriously.
