Default Estimating software

Hi
Does anyone out there use a pricing system, I bought a piece of software a few years ago called easi-est as I do Tiling,Plastering and Dri-lining, and with so many variations of work it keeps the paper work down. I have since bought a new laptop and unable to transfer any information over. Contacted the company, they now want £4500 for software and £450 a year for the licence for a single user, thanks but no thanks.

So, do any of you guys use a pricing system which is a lot, lot cheaper.

Thanks in advance

yep, work out roughly how long a job will take and go with a day rate or what i think it's worth to me...ie, how much would i want for doin the job wether it be plastering or tiling....sometimes i do tiling on a meterage rate.

not too complicated really and definatley not worth 4gs..Mark.
