Re: Sealing round my bath
It's a case of what do you want, the job done right or water damage to the building ? It doesn't look 'that' big a gap but I would have siliconed the bath to the wall at time of fitting then siliconed tile to bath.
How big a gap is it ?

Re: Sealing round my bath
Looks like some of the grout has been siliconed at one time as well

Re: Sealing round my bath
i live in a rented property , and i know how hard it can be to get someone to come out, + the guy who might eventually come out will make a mess of it any way. best thing you can do is give it a good clean get all the loose out ,make sure its dry ,fill the bat to the top , and reseal it with silicon , i know there will be alot of sealant , on the other hand if you can take bath panel off see if you can adjust the height of the bath slightly at the end were the gap is, to tighten the gap up a bit, just a thought

Re: Sealing round my bath
agree with nybor, you might be able to adjust the height. Clean the joint and a good bead of silicon. Cheaper than those 'sealing' strips but Tele seal is a good one but takes a bit of work to put on
