Victorian tiling

After reading timeless johns thread and seeing that blindin hallway he layed it got me thinking about when I did my course. We never actually covered anything about Victorian or geometric tiling.

I'm guessing this is because it's a specialised area. But does anyone know anywhere I can get any info such as setting out, styles, prep etc etc.

Some course centres do do geo courses and yes it is specialised but isn't all tiling.

Yes Me - Phil Hobson - Tommyzoom - and many other members here on Tilers Forum.
Just ask and we'll all do our best to help.
Note : you have to walk before you can run, so don't take on more than you are comfortable with at first - This job should not cause stress it should be fun!

Without a doubt John, I'm such a perfectionist that if im not sure about my ability to do a job to a high standard then I don't do it. The last thing I want is a reputation for sloppy work.
But Victorian tiling is an area which I'm missing out on as there are some really old fashioned areas of Bristol and Bath and I would love to be able to add this to my armoury

PJ, to be classed in the same league as TJ, and Tommyzoom. For me is a real compliment. I hope you keep on asking, I'm sure you will get the advice you need, from this forum
