Default Quality Porcelain travertine effect tiles

I picked up a previous thread that was really useful as I was trying to choose whether I should choose the real deal travertine or porcelain travertine effect. Given I've two young kids and lots of wear and tear on them I think porcelain travertine effect tiles are the best option.

Only thing is that price varies so much and just wondered if anyone could recommend what I should look for and how much difference a £28 sq will differ to a £40 sq m??!

Thank you so much for any help...

If you arent going to go down the real deal Travetine route then why not also consider ceramic lookalikes too? A bit cheaper than porc and easier to use for the novice (apologies if you are not a novice like me!). The Nerea Crema tile that Tile Giant sell is a good ceramic tile and is usually the first display as you walk through the doors of any Tile Giant store

Thanks so much for your replies. I was more keen to go for porcelain than ceramic as thought they would be better quality and more hardwearing? Pete - am laying the tiles in the hall, kitchen and open plan dining area, about 70sq m, so quite a large space....and want to make sure it's going to withstand the usage it will get!
