    I only ask because at my local tip they won't accept any trade waste, license or not (you can dump building materials if you sign a declarations it has come out of your own property) so if I saw the same thing at my tip it would suggest homeowners are doing it themselves

    going to my local one tomorrow. No Trade Waste is the sign but a blind man on a galloping horse can see it's all not household. (got a hippo bag for current job but the amount of cardboard packaging in a bathroom is unbelievable these days) I think as long as you don't abuse it they let you get away with a bit. Scrap man after that get myself some pocket money

    I do exactly the same Neale - totally doesn't make sense as I have a great big van and the customer is left to cart bags full of rubbish to the tip, but as you say the customer understands

    It reminds me of the John Bishop gag in the following link:

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qodASdTL4G0]YouTube - John Bishop - Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow - Manchester.mp4[/ame]

    That has got to be one of the funniest jokes ever!!!

    I've taken my trailer to the job I'm doing at the moment. Customer will take it to the tip as he has a towbar on his car. I kept everything seperate, plasterboard, old hacked of sand/cement render, tile offcuts etc, and then the plumbers and sparkies just threw all their rubbish in any old where, so it's all mixed up now
