how thick is the ply that is down. you said part of floor is bitumen , was there some vinyl tiles down originally i would use mapei white powdered adhesive flexible , is the ply floor solid it might be a better option to over lay the floor with insulation boards. firstly how thick is ply is it solid, is the bitumen floor solid ,the bitumen floor im not 100% sure about, some one on here will be along soon im sure.

You can lay on bitumen if it is stable, use a good quality Sbr and allow to dry, remove dust etc. You will need an movement joint between the two different substrates.
Can you post some pictures of the floor and the marble?

I would do a slurry coat with sbr and use a decoupling membrane for the marble on the ashfelt
