Re: how many guys still??
I flip it over and mark the back, then follow the marks around to the face, nice and neat.

Re: how many guys still??
I nearly always flip and mark.
It's only very large format and delicate, unsealed stone that I get the tape measure out for.

When it needs to be close like a wavy ceiling it has to be a scribe for me,parallel cuts are easier to measure ...Bit of both

Re: how many guys still??
When I did my back passage I made a template and laid it over the tiles and marked them sort of like gooner suggested. It worked a treat. A tip I picked up off the interweb. I could not flip and mark the backs cos the walls were way off square.
you must all buy this song from any good download site for just 79p. Proceeds to Blesma, RAFA and RAFBF charities

As above, flip and mark. As the tiles get larger though it seems I do get the measure out more often
