    Default Adhesive everywhere

Is it just me or when using a large u-notched floor trowel to ensure a solid bed of adhesive for floor tiles do you spend half the time wiping the excess addy out of the grout lines?? Is there a way of avoiding this??

I tend to use a gauging trowel to run around the edge of the tile @ a 45 degree angle next to where you are putting the next one which draws the ahesive away from the edge a bit. it helps to avoid the adhesive coming threw the joints

You want to use 200mm thick marble, that will stop the addy coming through the joints

If you have that much adhesive oozing up through the joints, then you need to reduce trowel depth..
