Im about to tile my new bathroom and the plumber has just installed the bath and the shower tray. He ran silicone around the bath and put the classiseal roll around the shower tray. Im not sure if i just tile to the edges leaving a small gap for silicone between the bottom tile and bath/shower tray.
What i want to know is if silicone is enough to seal the sides of the bath and if the classiseal is all that is needed for the sides of the showertray?
Do i also need to fit the seal trims when tiling?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I would just tile to the bath and shower tray, leaving a little gap of 1 to 2 mill and silicon after grouting the walls. (dont bother grouting the gap between tile and bath/shower tray tho) and make sure you fill the bath with water prior to applying silicon and leave overnight. as for the trims, they're crap, i've been to many jobs where they've leaked (not fitted by me, take note) and ive had to remove them and tile down to the bath/shower tray.
