Terracotta Tiles (Sealing) in the
Tiling Forum at TilersForums;
I have replaced 5 terracotta tiles today, do I need to seal them befor I grout them?
If so what best to use?

Not sure the others were layd a while a go and they have had a patio door installed. Dont think the tiles are the same as the original ones. Well i'm off to buy some sealer.

Why don't you offer to strip the whole floor and then seal the whole floor...missing a good ££££ opportunity here...get a better finish sealing the whole floor.

Is it an indoor/outdoor job?
Terracotta can be sealed using boiled linseed oil which darkens the colour.
A picture would have helped!
