    god i hate cutting round loo's it doubles the time of cracking out those bathroom floor jobs

    I think i would have started with the tile joint in the centre of the pan ??

    see what you mean but i think that looks ok as the setting out looks even both sides which i think looks better.

    Not always possible and can naff up other cuts as well..

    I look at the whole floor and not just the bog centre.

    From looking at it i dont think it would leave a slither but without measuring i cant tell....each to their own though. i am am just drawn to the off centre thing. Yes sometimes it cant be helped though.

    Your right it looks tight,my first glimpse said slither but really close call.
    If it was going to work i'd have went centre for sure but only one man plus the customer knows,lol.
    still a nice job,i like them tiles.

    dry laid from centre of pan and did have a slither at the bath end that the bath panel wouldn't cover. the grout line lines up with the centre of the door which works well. the customer sent me a Tex saying he was over the moon and that id transformed his bathroom into his dream bathroom !! i thought it was a bit over the top but nice to no there happy. nothing worse than a unhappy customer

    nice one terry, keep up the good work
    as said above, tiling around the toilet doesnt look as good but if the customer wants to keep the cost down, then its their call...

    it just goes to show that even photos can be deceptive because at first glance, it looks as though you could have just made it with the setting out centering the toilet but as you dry laid, you realised it would have left a unsightly cut so you made the best decision available......

    setting out is a stange one sometimes, its down to interpretation is some instances, not everything is black and white.

    They look like B&Q tiles Terry?
    I tiles a bathroom in them a months or so ago,turned out very well too.

    just kept nibbling and seeing if it fits ! took quite a while ! ended up having a perfect cut only to break it again will be using solder as a guide from now on to save time

    yes m8, b and q tiles ! marble look a like ! nice tiles . i would have had them brick bond tho if it was my place and maybe a ivory grout. but customer wanted the vertical with white grout ! still looks ok tho

    i done them in a bathroom lately and brick bonded them and put feature at basin with mosaics etc.i must look for a pic of it.Nice tiles they are
