Weekend Tiling.
Hello All,
I'm looking to gain some tiling experience and wondered whether anyone on here has any weekend work available?
Since being made redundant in April 2009 I have completed a 4 week intensive tiling course and carried out a handful of domestic installations. I have acquired a full set of tools and have my own transport and a CSCS card.
I am currently working part time between 08:00 - 13:00 monday to friday, so I would also be available for any work in the afternoons.
I live in Putney/London and would be available to start work immediately.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Re: Weekend Tiling.
Got the go ahead for doing a kitchen and bathroom floor today. Starting next wednesday and she doesn't mind the fact that I'll be turning up after 1 o'clock each day. I said I'd work saturday to finish if required.
Only a small job but keeps my hand in.
Cheers all.

Re: Weekend Tiling.
Good luck to you mate - I can absolutely appreciate your situation (you dont work for royal mail part time by any chnce? lol)
Im totally in the same boat - these wee jobs, steps - floors etc all gain valuable experience.
Keep at it!

Re: Weekend Tiling.
Hello fergy
No, not working for royal mail but I did apply to them. I managed to land a part time job as part of the estates team at a local gated estate (very posh)
I really could get used to the hours, and there's going to be plenty of overtime covering holidays etc so things are definately on the up.
Good luck to you too mate.
