Default Advice needed - Granite tiles

I have a job this week to lay granite tiles in a bathroom, thing is the guy is telling me he has a concrete floor and I recon its chipboard. So if it is chipboard would I be right in saying that the whole bathroom suite will have to come out and replace the chipboard with ply and backer board brfore I could lay the granite tiles??

Also the floor space is 6sqm.

    Any advice would be grate.

yes your right, is this a ground floor

it maybe a warm floor construction which would mean that you could just overboard the chip board with backer board
